Classes

ChartDescriptor

A chart with its chrome: placed with a category group on the first text field and one series per numeric field (the first), drawn as plot frame, axes, gridlines, the series' shapes, a legend naming the series and the title.

CustomItemDescriptor

A custom report item: the built-in barcode drawer's symbologies place (Code 128 by default, QR Code for the QR entry); a vendor type is preserved and drawn as a frame, never placed, because it needs a drawer the host registers.

GaugeDescriptor

A gauge panel or an in-cell chart: radial gauge, linear gauge, indicator, sparkline or data bar, placed bound to the first numeric field and drawn with real geometry (dial arc and needle, scale bar, state icon, line, bar).

ImageDescriptor

An image: a frame with its source and value.

LineDescriptor

A line from the item's top-left to its bottom-right.

MapDescriptor

A map. DocWright draws maps since 1.4.0 (its Phase 76), so the item places: a new one is a Mercator world with the default grid (Map(string, int, int)), and layers, data and rules are edited in the XML view or the property grid. What DocWright does not draw yet is named by its DXP9409 diagnostic in the preview.

RectangleDescriptor

A rectangle: its outline and background; the surface draws its children.

SubreportDescriptor

A subreport: a frame with the report it names.

TablixDescriptor

A data region (table, matrix or list, all Tablix): placed through TablixBuilder over the report's first dataset, drawn from TablixModel's visual grid with headers shaded and every value bracketed. One descriptor per palette shape; all three match any Tablix for drawing.

TextboxDescriptor

A text box: its first run's value, or a bracketed expression, in its own font and alignment.
