DescribeCatalog(ResolvedDataSource, DataSourceExecutionOptions, CancellationToken)

Describes the tables, columns and relationships a source offers, for the designer's query designer: metadata only, at most MaxTables tables. A provider that cannot describe its source returns null (the default), and the designer offers the query text alone.

Parameters

source ResolvedDataSource

The resolved source.

options DataSourceExecutionOptions

The limits; the timeout bounds the description.

cancellationToken CancellationToken

Cancels the description.

Returns

DataSourceCatalog

The catalog, or null.

Remarks

Every .csv file directly in the source's folder is a table, its columns typed as discovery types them; the query is the file name.
