Available

Gets the data sources this host offers report authors, by name and kind and never with a secret, for a designer's "new data source" list. Empty by default: a resolver that resolves names dynamically lists nothing and an author types the name.

Add(string, ResolvedDataSource)

Maps a report data source name to a resolved source.

Add(string, ResolvedDataSource, string?)

Maps a report data source name to a resolved source, with a description authors see in the designer.

AddShared(string, ResolvedDataSource, string?)

Adds a shared data source: one connection many reports reference by name, as Reporting Services' shared data sources are. A report's DataSourceReference resolves to it whether it states the bare name (SalesDb) or a server path ending in it (/Data Sources/SalesDb); a shared reference wins over the report's own data source name.

AddSharedFolder(string)

Adds every Reporting Services shared data source file (.rsds, .rds) in a folder, each named after its file, so a team's existing shared data sources serve their reports unchanged. The connection strings stay in the host.

Default(ResolvedDataSource?)

Sets the source every unmapped name resolves to; by default an unmapped name resolves to nothing.

Resolves a data source.
